4. Purpose of group

The purpose of the MENN is to provide a platform for interested individuals, organisations and institutions to share knowledge, opportunities, experience and other resources in M & E. It is also an opportunity to access professional consultants in Monitoring and Evaluation in Nigeria and Africa. It is an informal medium to support capacity building, strengthening and dissemination of monitoring and evaluation information in Nigeria under a Network for Monitoring and Evaluation.

MENN will assist in bringing together local and international professional evaluators, institutions and beginners in evaluation profession with interest in Nigeria and Africa. To learn together and create a platform for sharing information and making efforts to bridge the gap between demand and supply for evaluation capacity, utilization and institutionalization particularly in Nigeria. Also to support the development of evaluation theory and practice in Nigeria, Africa and internationally.

MENN is presently pursuing the formalization of its Network to provide legally and professionally credible platform to its target audience, stakeholders and supportive organizations.
